Will the clicky work?

If it works... this clicky should lead to my posts on Helium.com, fame, fortune and great popularity.

Snarfing Helium

If I'm going to start writing on here regularly, I wonder if I'll get bored from looking at whatever I write here and now; on a regular basis? Hrm.
Well maybe that isn't the way it works?
I really don't know.
I was reading on some Forum earlier in the week.. probably Topix and followed a link to some guys blog. (Which was actually pretty entertaining)
((Not that I care enough to have saved it or ever go back or anything.))
I've read a few more too.. but not enough to know if I'm going to be viewing this particular post day after day.. week after week or not.
Moving on.
SO..
Today my lover informed me that he was writing a Blog which inspired me to look up popular blogging sites and I came upon a site called Helium.com
It was really cool.
I spent a great deal of my day reading, rating and posting. I've been checking the site tonight too and my posts are all still mainly middle of the road. I read that they pay you a penny each time somebody reads your articles. The whole idea totally tickles me. I tried to post a link to it on here so that when folks come here to read what I have to say they can also go there and read what I have said (lol) ... but it really didn't work. I'm going to try once more. Just for shits n giggles. How often does one get to say shits and giggles in a regular day?
We went to Walmart tonight and bought a teeny eeny adorable little black charcoal table grill and cooked the most exquisite strip steaks either of us has had in quite while. I marinated them in Worcestershire, lemon, soy and tequila while my love scrapped together the grill. (Which he did with great precision and skill)
It's amazing by the way the amount of crap that can build up in the first kitchen junk drawer. I say first because there are actually three more. It's a whole wall of junk drawers, but it's the first one that is already overflowing with crap a day or two after I have completely cleaned it out. The last one is always overflowing but I rarely clean it out, so it is always full to the hilt with the exact SAME crap and somehow that's different and less frustrating.
Anyway, we decided we are now charcoal people all the way. I guess I hadn't ever realized before how significant the difference is between a gas grill and charcoal. Very cool. We bought twice baked potato's already prepared. (Just add butter and sour cream) from Price Chopper and some veggies and had an awesome meal to the sound of thunder and that hilarious guy from E.
And now Ben Folds is playing in the background as I'm rounding out my first ever blog and my lover is singing as he plays Star Wars Galaxies and I am loving him.
Lucky me. I'm VERY happy the weekend is here.
